A woman who was dubbed Psycho Pen Lady by one of her fellow passengers was removed from a flight on Thursday after she allegedly stabbed a man in the arm with a pen because he was snoring.
The Southwest Airlines flight from Chicago to Manchester, New Hampshire, where the stabbing occurred was scheduled to leave Midway International Airport at 1:15pm.
It was delayed for almost two hours and didn’t depart until 3:04pm after the ‘disturbance’.
The Chicago Fire Department was called to evaluate the man, Lenny, 68, after he was stabbed in the arm. He said the sensation was like ‘being stung by bees, and then waking up and going “owww'”, ABC 7 reported.
His best friend, photographer Michael Sutton, said the pen stabbing began after Lenny’s arm brushed up against the woman while he slept.
