(New York, NY)  The dental industry will be ‘going green!’ on March 14th, with the unveiling of Respire Medicals latest sleep device, The Respire Green Series.  The Brooklyn based oral appliance company, and dental continuing education company, Sleep Group Solutions will introduce the Green Series to the dental industry on Thursday, March 14th at 7pm EDT, during a one hour webinar.

Each sleep device fabricated by Respire Medical, comes with it’s own unique color, function and application.  The dental industry has become familiar with the companies Respire Blue Series, and the Respire Pink Series.  The Blue Series is a dorsal fin appliance design, great for patients who require an open anterior, while the Pink Series is a Herbst design, used for heavy clenching and grinding sleep apnea patients.  “We [Respire Medical] understand that one appliance design is not suitable for every patient. Our goal has always been to create a range of sleep apnea devices, each with a different function to meet the needs of the patients using the device.”  says David Walton, Co-founder of Respire Medical.   Respires latest design, The Respire Green Series is an extremely adjustable device, allowing up to 12mm advancement from the starting position, and comes with an enticing, competitive price tag.

The Green Series differs from Respires other sleep devices in a few different ways.  The adjustment mechanism on The Green Series is on the anterior of the device.  Making adjustments possible while the patient is wearing the device.  This is extremely important for patients undergoing an overnight sleep study.  The design also allows for more lateral movement than the other devices, which is crucial for sleep bruxing patients, who need the ability to move from side to side.  “The concept of the device is something we have wanted to release for some time, and after several months of trials, we are happy to have this device available for the many thousands of patients who are desperate for a good night's sleep.”  says David Walton.

Respire Medical teamed up with Sleep Group Solutions in 2010 to offer dental continuing education courses to their existing dental clients.  As a result of this partnership, thousands of dentists have implemented a sleep protocol, and are treating patients for snoring and sleep apnea.   To learn more about treating patients for sleep apnea, log onto sleepgs.com.  To learn more about Respire, and the Respire Green Series, visit RespireMedical.com.
