SGS Vice President John Nadeau has been actively involved in the dental sleep medicine community since 2002. He has worked with several hundred dentists in the field and helped many of them get started with sleep in their own practices. An expert on airway acoustic imaging and home sleep testing John authored the SGS protocol manual detailing the steps-by-step process involved in taking a patient from initial screening through diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. John’s passion for dental sleep medicine comes through strongly in his lectures and he has been an invited guest instructor at many dental meetings and teaching facilities across North America.

Dr. John Carollo

Dr. John Carollo received his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, (now Rutgers Dental School), and is a Member of the Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association and The Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has presented extensively on the subjects of Avoiding Complications and Pitfalls in Implant Dentistry from Single Teeth to Full Mouth Restorations, Contemporary Implant Esthetics, Anterior Esthetics for Implants and Natural Teeth, All-Ceramic Restorations, Treatment Planning Dental Implant Cases, Dental Sleep Medicine, (Sleep Apnea); and Fabricating Dental Sleep Appliances Over Orthodontic Retainers.

Dr. Dan Tache

A native of Salem, MA, Dr. Tache’ has been practicing dentistry since 1975. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Anselm’s College in Manchester, NH, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1974. Dr. Tache began lecturing for SGS in 2006 and served as President of the Wisconsin Sleep Society.

For 16 years, Dr. Tache’ was in private practice in Houston, TX and served as a guest lecturer and assistant clinical professor at the University of Texas Dental Branch. During that time, he trained dentists in the field of tempromandibular dysfunction and orofacial pain. In 1999, he moved to Wisconsin and has placed the emphasis of his practice on the diagnosis and treatment of orofacial pain and TMD in Appleton, Green Bay and Manitowoc. Dr Tache’ continues to lecture locally and nationally on the subjects of orofacial pain & sleep apnea and the pivotal role now placed by the qualified dentist in the management of these serious modalities.

Dr. Marty Lipsey, received his DDS degree from UCLA and a Master of Science from Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Damian Blum

Dr. Blum has trained and studied under many of the top clinicians in the world for the past 28 years. He began his journey toward becoming a dentist after graduating from UMBC in 1979, with a BA in Biology and Psychology. He then studied at Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1983, and in the same year opened the doors of his first private practice in Baltimore.
